RINGS

Our rings are crafted from wood burls recovered from felled trees of enchanted rain forests along Canada’s rugged west coast. Many different wood species are repurposed with our most popular being birds-eye Yellow Cedar and maple. There are two main components to our rings - Wood Ring Blank and Ring Core. The process begins with a pre-cut, stabilized ring blank, cut from our large inventory of unique burls. The ring cores come in a variety of material such as Stainless Steel, Titanium, Ceramic, and much more. The ring blank is then crafted to the ring core size using a lathe and hand tools. Other material such as Opal, diamond dust, or metal flakes, for example, are then incorporated. The wood is then glued to the core using industrial quality epoxy to form a strong, long-lasting, and water resistant bond. The finish consists of multiple coats of UV acrylic resin, sanded to 2000 grit, followed by three-stage waxing and polishing using high speed polishing wheels.
